As the first major update for Leawo’s flagship Prof. Media in 2018 New Year, the newest version 126.96.36.199 comes with steadier copy function, added support of 7.1 audio channel and optimized Blu-ray loading speed.
Shenzhen, Guangdong -- (ReleaseWire) -- 01/08/2018 -- Leawo Software, a leading multi-media software manufacturer, has released the latest version 188.8.131.52 of its best-selling & flagship Prof. Media with a series of major updates which including the steadier copy function mainly for Blu-ray Copy and Blu-ray Creator modules, the added support of 7.1 audio channel and in general, the optimized Blu-ray loading speed & bug fixings and so on to better user experience as always.
As the subsequent and major update of its previous version 184.108.40.206 which was published in Apr 19, 2017, the brand-new Prof. Media version 220.127.116.11 debut this time after more than half a year, definitely has something to deliver:
It is well-known that there are 8 different modules inside Prof. Media and the most important ones are Blu-ray related modules like Blu-ray Copy and Blu-ray Creator. The first update being talked here is made for them to maximize the function in the following ways:
Enhanced features for Blu-ray Copy module:
1. Output file size will be shown correctly when switching from DVD to Blu-ray;
2. BD50-BD25 copy speed was optimized to its maximum and the audio was retained perfectly;
3. There will be no video dimension compression issue anymore after coping Blu-ray disc.
While for Blu-ray Creator module, changes have been made to the following aspects:
1. The underlayer was completely redesigned to fulfill better burning task;
2. The option of burning engine in the settings has been removed and the judgement process has been updated to make the whole burning process much easier;
3. Unlike before, there is no need to create an ISO now before the burning process.
Blu-ray Ripper module on the other hand is capable of converting Blu-ray to various video formats with ease. Since all the Blu-ray conversions start from Blu-ray loading, the new version this time has included a speed lift for Blu-ray loading process, as it can make the Blu-ray conversion thereafter faster
Other improvements also have been applied to video-related module like Video Converter for converting WMV file to other popular video in various formats. Windows Media Video (WMV) is used as a popular compressed video compression format developed by Microsoft for several proprietary codecs and a lot of customers shall need to convert it to other video formats according to their purposes. And that's why they can do it easily now with the new update without WMV loading and converting failures.
Next is the perfect support of 7.1 audio channel. This is something brand-new with high tech and the key factor there is Audio Copy encoding technology. This is used to keep the original 7.1 audio data from Blu-ray mainly in bluray pcm and dts hd and reflect the same audio effect losslessly on other devices when playing those videos converted from Blu-ray contents.
Bug-fixing is always one of the most efficient measurements to better the user experience. For example, Leawo team has optimized the French translation to serve its multilingual customers around the world. Prof. Media has 11 worldwide languages and characters in total to choose from and the numbers will keep growing in the next a few months.
